The Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature is a reference guide to recently published articles in periodical magazines and scholarly journals, organized by article subject. The Readers' Guide has been published regularly since 1901 by the H. W. Wilson Company, and is a staple of public and academic reference libraries throughout the United States; a retrospective index of general periodicals published from 1890 to 1982 is also available.
The UNF library has past issues of periodicals in 4 different formats; full text online, print, microfilm and microfiche. We may have a single periodical, I.e. Ebony, in all 4 formats. Your format type will typically be dependent on the publication date you are looking for.
Many library resources may be available without leaving your home or office. Your topic can be easily located using the online catalog and Web-based indexes or subject guides and databases. The databases are generally listed by subject category and will help you find resources in a wide array of fields, including psychology.
Users can find a wide variety of essential tools to search APA's databases in APA's Training Center. APA provides print and online versions of search guides for most vendor search systems. The system-specific search guides help users with basic system navigation. A free field guide with information about the content of and conventions for use of APA PsycInfo record fields is also available.
This guide contains online resources developed to support research in the history of the United States and Canada. Resources have been placed in the category that best fits them. Be sure to explore widely as materials pertinent to your inquiry may be listed in categories that overlap or are adjacent to the most relevant ones.
This database is split into two pieces, Short Story Index, 1983 to date (linked above), and Short Story Index Retrospective covering 1915-1983. To search both pieces together, click the Choose Databases link at the top of the search page and check both titles.These databases index short stories written in or translated into English that have appeared in collections and selected periodicals. The periodicals are those indexed in Readers Guide to Periodical Literature and Humanities Index. Access to many of these periodicals (may be Cornell-only access) is available online in our Library Catalog.
Users can browse magazines by category as well as perform searches for specific periodicals. An online newsstand provides a carousel of the most recent issues, as well as a carousel of all issues, allowing for quick access to magazines. The table of contents contains links for quick access to articles of interest, and links within magazines open in separate tabs. In addition, there is an option to zoom in and out for a more comfortable reading experience.
Published by the National Library of Medicine, PubMed comprises over 25 million citations and full-text articles for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. PubMed citations and abstracts include the fields of biomedicine and health, covering portions of the life sciences, behavioral sciences, chemical sciences, and bioengineering. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources. Updated daily.

Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature (1900-2007)The Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature is a print index of mostly popular periodical literature. This series, in print, extends back to 1900. Indexing is primarily by author and subject in one continuous alphabet.
