This guide also discusses how to install Mountain Lion on a Mac that's already running Lion or Snow Leopard. For reference, that method works just as well as the way we just described, but with one caveat: you'll need to make sure that your Mac is supported on the list of approved hardware for Mountain Lion. If you can't find the Mountain Lion version you want, you'll need to upgrade to Mountain Lion.
The next step is to download the.dmg file you've just created from the Mountain Lion website. Once you have the file, you can boot up your Mac, disconnect your USB drive, and drag the.dmg file onto the desktop. Once you do, Mountain Lion will begin the installation process. If you get a message about the software not being supported on your Mac, that means that your Mac is not an approved Intel Mac. If you want to get Mountain Lion, you'll have to upgrade to a Mac that is approved by Apple.
Once you've made sure you have all the required software (and drivers, of course) installed and updated, you'll need to create a USB drive installer for Mountain Lion. This is done by booting up your PC and connecting your USB drive to it. From there, you can follow the on-screen instructions to download and install Mountain Lion on your PC.
Once Mountain Lion has been installed, you'll need to update the software on your PC. To do this, you'll need to boot up your PC and connect your USB drive. Once the drive is connected, you can use the Migration Assistant utility to move your files from the internal hard drive to the USB drive.
Also, be careful about downloading the Mountain Lion update to your Mac. Some people have reported downloading the update when there was a problem. If you want to check for problems, you can use the Mac App Store to download and install the update before your Mac actually boots up. This way, if there's a problem, you can fix it before it causes any damage to your Mac.
My MacBook Pro is running mac os x lion already installed I can not get it to boot into the 10.7.1 version of lion. No matter what I try (hacked boot cd 10.7.1 hacked 10.7.2 and 10.7.3) it resets to the factory settings and I have to hold down the power button to turn it back on. What could I do to fix this?
So now I'm trying to flash a hacked version of Lion since not many people seem to be having trouble with this version of Lion. I've managed to get it to boot, but it automatically boots into the 10.7.3 version and is not the 10.7.1. I can't seem to get it to boot into the 10.7.1 version. Anyone have any ideas on this?
I tried to install Lion and have the same problem. It will go into the internet for license info and then will start crashing on me. It is a 64-bit system and I tried the 32-bit version. It does the same thing.
I've only been using Macs for about a week now. I have OS X Lion installed, but as soon as I reboot, my computer resets back to the factory settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. 827ec27edc
