After reviewing multiple forums on the Internet, checking the updates one by one, I have verified that the latest Net Framework 2.0 / 3.0 / 3.5 update is the one found in the Wincert forum by "user_hidden" updated on 2013-10-14. -addon-microsoft-net-framework-v35-sp1-full-20131008/So before checking if there are new updates with Windows Update or other alternative programs, this is the most updated list in 2020 on the Internet, as well as its possible installation order:

NDP20SP2-KB958481-x86.exe 8.9mbNDP30SP2-KB958483-x86.exe 7.2mbNDP35SP1-KB958484-x86.exe 1.4mbMy current observations indicate that the detection logic in this package is defective, as it doesn't seem to detect as needed anywhere. And the 64-bit version of the package, for XP/2003 64-bit systems, contains the 64-bit versions of those files:NDP20SP2-KB958481-x64.exe 19.2mbNDP30SP2-KB958483-x64.exe 17.2mbNDP35SP1-KB958484-x64.exe 1.4mbAnother package of this same update, applicable to Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 32-bits systems, contains seven files, and does have Express Installation capability:Windows6.0-KB958481-x86.psf 160mbWindows6.0-KB958481-x86.cab 10.8mbWindows6.0-KB958481-x86-EXPRESS.cab 0.5mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86.psf 131mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86.cab 7.0mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86-EXPRESS.cab 0.3mbNDP35SP1-KB958484-x86.exe 1.4mbHowever, the update that you've likely encountered in this scenario is the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) which actually distributed in five different packages:[a] for Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 (and, based on my detection experiences for machines that do not have the .NET Framework v2.0 installed); this update contains four files:The three 32-bit service pack files enumerated above plus the .NET v3.5 redistributable:NDP20SP2-KB958481-x86.exe 8.9mbNDP30SP2-KB958483-x86.exe 7.2mbNDP35SP1-KB958484-x86.exe 1.4mbdotnetfx35.exe 242mb[b] for Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 x64, which contains the 64-bit versions of the three service pack files, with sizes as noted above, and the same 242mb dotnetfx35.exe redistributable.[c] for Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 (with .NET Framework v2.0 or later installed), which contains exactly the same four file as [a].[d] for Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 x64, which contains exactly the same files as [b].[e] for Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008 32-bit systems, this package includes Express Installation files:Windows6.0-KB948609-v6001-x86.cab 19.5mbWindows6.0-KB948610-v6001-x86.cab 10.9mbWindows6.0-KB958481-x86.cab 10.8mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86.cab 7.0mbWindows6.0-KB958481-x86.psf 160mbWindows6.0-KB958481-x86-EXPRESS.cab 0.5mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86.psf 131mbWindows6.0-KB958483-x86-EXPRESS.cab 0.3mbnetfx_35_x86.exe 8.1mbNDP35SP1-KB958484-x86.exe 1.4mbOCHelper.exe 0.1mbclwireg.exe 0.1mbMost notably absent from the above collection is a package for Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008 64-bit system -- so either the titles are incorrectly stated, and the Vista/Win2008 package does both 32-bit and 64-bit, or perhaps one of those 64-bit packages was supposed to be applicable to Vista/Win2008, and either the metadata is incorrect, or the detection logic is. Since I don't currently have a Vista/2008 64-bit system to test against, my information on this point is incomplete.None of those packages is 25mb in size, nor is any individual filesize close to 25mb, although the superceded packages did have sizes of 17.5mb (32-bit) and 37.8mb (64-bit). All of the current packages contain some form of the full 3.5 installer, which is 242mb in size and that file is not part of an Express Installation package. Worst case scenario, btw, if one had the complete permutations of platforms supported by these packages, and EIF enabled -- the total file downloads would be about 360mb (650mb with EIF enabled):[a] WinXP/2003 32-bit: 17.5mb[b] WinXP/2003 64-bit: 37.8mb[c] dotnetfx35.exe: 242mb[d] the Vista/2008 package: ~60mb without EIF; 350mb with EIF
Bravo!!! that is readlly working fine, it fail in one of my pc but it was CD rom issue, so this patch is perfect. Usually win 10 comes by default .NET 4 and programs created in lower version willnot work so you need to install it and the way shown above is very nice, just run the above patch should run successfully. 2b1af7f3a8
